Cannot upload .url files as documents

Why can't I upload URL files as documents?

URL is not supported as a file extension for Daptiv documents. As a workaround, you can either upload a URL file inside a .zip file or add the link from the URL file as a custom text field and use markdown link formatting on the field, in the following format:

[name of .url link](link from .url file)
