'Manual' Progress Update Emails Setting for Projects

Progress update emails are sent to resources to update their work and remaining effort on their tasks. The default frequency for sending these emails is defined in system settings, and you can override the system settings per Project, in the Project settings.

In the Project settings, a new Manual option for Progress update frequency lets you send progress update emails only on demand, and not according to one of the scheduled, recurring options.

Benefits

Project Managers can now disable scheduled progress update emails and have full control over the requests for progress updates at the cadence of their choice.
