Unlinking AdaptiveWork to Advisor

If a portfolio is already linked to Advisor, you can choose to unlink it directly from AdaptiveWork. This action removes the connection and deletes the related portfolio data from Advisor.

How to Unlink a Portfolio

  1. In AdaptiveWork, go to the linked portfolio.

  2. Open the Advisor menu.

  3. Select Unlink Portfolio from Advisor.

If the Unlink is successful

  • The portfolio is disconnected from Advisor.

  • The related portfolio data is removed from Advisor.

  • The Advisor menu updates to show: Link Portfolio to Advisor

If the Unlink fails

  • Advisor returns a failure message. 

  • The portfolio remains linked.

  • A validation message appears: "The portfolio could not be unlinked. Please try again later."

  • You can try again at a later time if needed.
