New Workplan
New Import Workplan

Improved Import action for Project Details to upload a new/updated import Workplan from an excel file. 

Please note that the new import Workplan currently supports import only from Excel file at the moment, follows Planview Design System and does not support custom CSS (color, fonts etc.), and supports only English, French, German, and Spanish.

Full Screen Support

The new Workplan Grid and Gantt now support full screen mode to easily analyze the project plan.

Define a selection of nice-to-have parameters, assign weight and ranking order where necessary and you will be presented with a list of resource candidates sorted by work item relevant matching scores to make an educated selection.

Search Functionality

Global Search behavior has been altered by introducing the following behavior:

  • search will only begin until the 3rd character is typed
  • longer debouncing - increasing delay after each keystroke from 10-100ms to 300ms, to minimize incomplete queries

These changes are preventing wasteful queries and allow for more efficient & quicker result queries.

Security
Switching from TLS1.2 to TLS1.3

TLS1.2 will be removed from the list of supported encryption protocols.

This change will require the verification that any custom integrations (via APU using REST API or integration software) support TLS1.3.

These are updated timelines:

  • Sandbox - July 31st, 2026
  • Production - August 31st, 2026
