The Insights widget gives Project Managers, Portfolio Managers, and executives an at-a-glance view of a project's overall health directly within Planview.me. By selecting a project, users can instantly see a consolidated status summary covering key performance metrics, risks, financials, resourcing, and AI-generated recommendations — without needing to navigate into the project itself.

Getting Started
To use the Insights widget, select the project you want to review from the project selector in the widget header. The widget will load a full status summary for the selected project, organised into the sections below.
What You Can See
Once a project is selected, the Insights widget displays the following sections:
Progress
An overview of the project's overall completion, accompanied by a status chart that visually represents current progress against the planned target.
Risks and Issues
A summary of open risks and issues logged against the project, with a status chart breaking down their severity or resolution state to help teams prioritise attention.
Timeline
A view of the project's planned versus actual timeline, with a status chart highlighting whether key dates are on track, at risk, or delayed.
Schedule
Detailed schedule metrics showing how tasks and milestones are tracking, supported by status charts that surface any schedule slippage or variance from the baseline.
Budget
A financial summary showing budget versus actuals, supported by a chart that makes it easy to see whether the project is within budget, approaching the limit, or over-spent.
Resources
An overview of resource allocation and utilisation for the project, giving managers visibility into whether the project is appropriately staffed and how effort is being distributed across the team.

Exporting the Status Summary
Users can export the full project status summary using the Export button in the widget. This allows Project Managers and stakeholders to share the consolidated view outside of Planview.me — for example, in status meetings, executive briefings, or project reporting packs.
