New Capped Times & Materials Billing type [NEW] |
A new Billing type is now available and allows you to handle Capped T&M Contracts where a Fixed Price or Budgeted Work (Hours) cap can be defined, where Work/ Expected/ Forecast/ Actual Revenue cannot exceed cap. Capped Time and Materials (T&M) contract is a hybrid billing arrangement that combines elements of both T&M and fixed-price contracts. In this model, the client agrees to pay the contractor based on the actual time spent and materials used, but with an agreed-upon maximum limit or "cap" on the total cost.his cap ensures that the project does not exceed a specified budget, providing financial protection for the client. |
New Timephase Suggested Revenue Fields [NEW] |
Services businesses need insight into whether they have sold the right commercial contract arrangement with their customers. This insight helps them drive future contract negotiations and pricing with customers. When the billing type is Fixed-price, revenue recognition is typically based on the project's progress or milestones achieved. However, incorporating Time and Expenses (T&E) calculations can provide valuable insights into project performance and profitability. Here's why:
New Suggested Revenue fields are available for Timephase data and represent the Revenue as if they were calculated based on T&M Billing type. |
Hybrid Custom Objects [NEW] |
Our hybrid interface will now offer support for Custom Objects, including Grid view, search/filter functionality and configuration. The capability will support all aspects of Custom Objects, brining comparable features from the Classic UI to Hybrid. |

Important Announcements
Removal of Global Setting "8.10 Enable Placeholder Resources" |
In our continuous effort to streamline processes and configuration in our PPM capabilities, we are enabling Placeholder Resources by default in the application and will then remove from the UI the Global Setting. AdaptiveWork Admin or Super Users can configure the org according to business needs and utilize or hide the User placeholder and Asset Placeholder entities. This change will require an update of installed apps and a review of your existing Configurations so that your rules continue to run only on relevant resource items and do not encounter errors, once the Placeholder Resources feature is enabled.
