Reviewing and leveling capacity of resources across projects

The Resource planning view in Resource Load allows you to view users’ or groups’ project assignment and task assignment (if applicable) across all projects by time period. You can change the units, specify a different time mode (i.e. day, week, or month), and add more users to the view to level assignment between multiple users or groups.

To view and level capacity for a user:

  1. In the user’s profile, click the Resource Load button.
  2. In the Resource Load mode, click the Gear and select Enable resource planning.
  3. In the Resource planning view, click the Plus icon next to the user to view all projects the user is assigned to.
  4. Click the cell for any time period and project to adjust user’s project assignment.
