What is AdaptiveWork Bot
There are two ways AdaptiveWork Bot can help you. AdaptiveWork Bot can be set to automatically warn you when issues get behind. Or you can interact with AdaptiveWork Bot to retrieve project data and status on the fly.

AdaptiveWork Bot Interactions
The following is a list of all current supported commands for the bot.
Alerts
Automated Alerts
AdaptiveWork Bot is designed to proactively notify you if issues become off track or overdue. Your conversations with AdaptiveWork Bot are private as they take place over direct message (DM). The messages will not be shared.
Off-track projects: AdaptiveWork Bot will let you know when a project becomes offtrack. You will receive a maximum of one warning a day regarding your offtrack projects.
Overdue tasks: AdaptiveWork Bot will let you know if a task that you are a resource on is overdue. You will receive a maximum of one warning a day regarding your overdue tasks. After the initial notification, you will not receive a notification for the same task for another 7 days.
Reporting
Get a status of what’s on your plate with AdaptiveWork Bot. Quickly get some key project data within Slack/Microsoft Teams.
Status Report
See the status report. AdaptiveWork Bot can highlight progress, scheduling, and budget status for each project.

AdaptiveWork Bot will provide a report of various status signals on project Eagle. Data include scheduling status, budget status, and progress.
Milestone Report
Get a breakdown of the milestones within a project by its R/Y/G status. If a project is off track or at risk, the milestone report helps dive one level deeper to see the status of the milestones.

AdaptiveWork Bot will provide a report on the milestones of project Penguin. Data will segment milestones by R/A/G and sort them by status.
Financial Report
Get the financial results in context of a project. Access the revenue or cost information between budgeted and actual.

Quickly determine which projects are at risk and why. The AdaptiveWork Bot can help prioritize your time by highlighting the status of your projects

Tracking Tasks
Overdue Tasks
The bot can help you prioritize your day by showing your overdue tasks.

Update Status: Easily update your tasks with AdaptiveWork Bot’s help. Be able to mark complete, update due date and task from Slack/Microsoft Teams.

A user can mark a task as complete (assuming it passes all validation rules). This command can only be made once the user has selected a task where the status is active and the user is the resource.
@AdaptiveWork log 4 hours/days/minutes on [Customer Name/Project Name/Milestone Name/Task Name]
The Bot will show the user a list of all Work Items related to the Project name, Customer object, Milestone name or Task name. A user can log time on a task if the user is the resource, the task is reportable, and the task's actual effort is updated from timesheets. Logged time is calculated according to the organization calendar.
Note: This command does not support multiple Work Items, for example:
log 1 hour on <Project name>, <Milestone name>
@AdaptiveWork add comment
When the user is logging time, the user can add a comment. This command is made once the user has started to log time on a work item.
@AdaptiveWork submit timesheet
User can submit a timesheet. User can edit the date, comment, and time logged on the work item. This command is made once the user has started to log time on a work item.
Finding Projects or Tasks
@AdaptiveWork find Project Hummingbird
AdaptiveWork bot will search for active projects with the phrase "Hummingbird"

Managers
Get Timesheets (My team or user group)
@AdaptiveWork My team's timesheets
Returns the number of hours logged by my direct reports (active users only) for the past week.
Additional commands (my team):

Additional commands (by group name):
@AdaptiveWork Show me Developers group timesheets for the last 30 days
@AdaptiveWork Show me group Developers timesheets for the last 30 days
Returns timesheets for all users from user groups that have 'Developers' in the group name.
To get hours for more than a week, you can add 'last x days' or 'x days'. Example: @AdaptiveWork My team's timesheets last 90 days
Schedule Timesheets
Schedules sending a timesheet on a regular basis, handy for getting team timesheet updates every evening or at the end of the week.
Use one of the commands above to get a timesheet, and then click Schedule to set the frequency.

To log out from AdaptiveWork, use the following command:
