Error Flow

Introduction

Once you've configured your Twinless Artifact Update settings, your next step is to configure your Error Flow settings. This feature automatically sends failure messages back to the source artifact when synchronization errors occur. It provides the team who initiated the change with immediate visibility into synchronization issues, eliminating the need to log into the Hub UI to monitor deployment status.

The field configured to receive error messages should be dedicated exclusively to error flow functionality. Only String and Rich Text field types are supported.

Configuring Error Flow

To enable and configure Error Flow, click the Error Flow link on the Integration Configuration screen.

This will bring you to the Error Flow screen.

From this screen, select the field in the source artifact that will receive error messages when synchronization fails. If you want error messages to flow in both directions, select the appropriate field on each side of the integration.

NOTE: You cannot use fields that are already mapped from the collections.
