How can I troubleshoot admin notifications?

The following is a complete list of messages displayed in the Admin Banner.

(Tool Connection) cannot be reached

What does this message mean? This message appears when at least one Tool Connection cannot be reached by Viz. This could be for a number of reasons: external tool is down, credentials entered incorrectly, connectivity issue with the agent, etc. 

What should I do about it? Check your credentials and ensure the correct form of authentication is enabled on the server and that the Domain is specified if applicable. 

(Agent) is offline

What does this message mean? This message appears when the agent has not pinged in more than one minute.

What should I do about it? You should restart your agent.

(Tool Connection) change detection is incomplete

What does this message mean? This message appears when the last two consecutive change detections were not successful for a tool connection.

What should I do about it? You should inspect the activity log on the Tool Connection screen for more information.
