Release Notes

Here are the latest release notes for updates to Planview Adopt:

November 2025

Conditional Branching introduces a new type of conditional split within guides, allowing guide builders to branch user flows based on whether a specific element or feature is present on a page. This gives teams greater control and flexibility to tailor in-app experiences to each user’s environment.

See Branch guides with conditional logic for details

October 2025

Page and Feature Tagging allows users to identify and tag Pages and/or Features specific to their organizations environment.

See Custom Page Tagging and Custom Feature Tagging for details.

Tagged Features for Guides allows guide builders to easily target existing tagged features for in-app guides, eliminating the need to manually tag element rules. This streamlines guide setup and ensures more reliable guide targeting.

September 2025

Guide Branching - Map View provides a clear view to the Guide Builders of their branches and which guides are a part of each branch.

April 2025

Guide Activity in Paths improves our path analysis by providing visibility into guide views and to see how users interact with guides in the Paths reports.

See Paths

Embedded Guides allow you to seamlessly integrate guidance directly within your application’s interface, providing users with contextual assistance exactly where they need it. Unlike overlay guides, embedded guides are placed inline with your app’s content, ensuring a non-disruptive user experience. This approach enhances usability by delivering relevant information at the precise moment it’s required, thereby improving user engagement and satisfaction.

January 2025

The Task List building block allows you to design and display a sequence of tasks for your users. By breaking down actions or learning objectives into clear, manageable steps, you can guide your users through processes to help them learn, make progress, or accomplish specific tasks within your application.

See Building Blocks.
