Lifecycle Approvals widget
Description
The Lifecycle Approvals widget displays all work, strategy, and outcome lifecycle items that need your approval. Managers and executives can use this widget to quickly and easily manage their lifecycle approvals with fewer clicks than by using the lifecycle screens in Planview Portfolios. Administrators can configure this widget to appear in Planview.Me and in Planview Portfolios on My Overview,
NOTE
The widget does not show request lifecycle items that need approval.
The information displayed depends on where the widget is located:
- In Planview.Me, the widget displays information about all work, strategy, and outcome lifecycle items that need your approval.
- In Planview Portfolios, the widget displays information about all work, strategy, and outcome lifecycle items that need your approval on the Overview tab on My Overview.

Available functionality
Users with the required lifecycle role who are responsible for approving lifecycle steps, such as project managers and program managers, can use the elements in the widget as described in the following table. For more information, see Lifecycles.
