Planview.Me product releases

New enhancements

• New Recent items widget that is common to multiple products is released (see the notice, below)
• Creating Planview.Me – Only the widgets that a user has access to appear in the widget library
• Configuring Planview.Me views in Planview Admin:
  • views can be shared with one or more product roles
  • views can be activated directly from the main list view
• Minor enhancements to tooltip messages

Known issues

• The release of Planview Copilot is delayed until early next week.
• The Recent items widget does not work in views located in Planview Portfolios Overview tabs when ProjectPlace is selected as a source product.

Notice: Deprecation and migration of recents widgets in December 2024

The following widgets are being deprecated in the December 12, 2024 release:

• Recent and favorite AgilePlace boards 
• Recent ProjectPlace boards 
• Recently viewed in Portfolios 

These widgets are being replaced by the Recent items widget. The widgets that are configured at the time of the December release will automatically be replaced by the Recent items widget using the same settings that are configured at the time. 

If you prefer, you can replace the widgets manually before then.

• Planview.Me views can be shared with one or more individual users (Administrators only)
• Only the widgets that correspond to Planview products licensed by an organization appear in the widget library
• Widget configuration settings – users can only configure widget settings for products that they have access to
• Data Visualization widget enhancements:
  • ability to group data by an entity attribute
  • ability to choose from different color palettes options

Known issue

• When multiple views are available, the first view alphabetically of the available views is displayed by default. If the user selects a different view, the selected view remains the default view for Planview.Me for the current browser only. After the browser history is cleared or if the user switches to a different browser, the view again defaults to first view alphabetically of the available views.

• Roadmaps widget – "Go to the Roadmap" link is available when the user does not have access to the roadmap.
• Dates are displayed in "mm/dd/yyyy" format regardless of the browser language setting.

Fixed issues

We fixed the following issues found in the Planview.Me settings in Planview Admin:

• When there are a large number of Planview.Me views in the list, the vertical scroll does not scroll far enough to display the bottom two views/rows.
• OKR Progress widget:
  • Minimum section height in the designer cuts off the bottom row of data when the OKR Progress widget is displayed in Planview.Me
  • In the Configure widget dialog for the OKR Progress widget, users without access to AgilePlace cannot select the All a user has access to option and save the configuration.
