Deprecation and migration of recents widgets
The following widgets are deprecated as of the Planview.Me February 2025 release:
- Recent and Favorite AgilePlace Boards
- Recent ProjectPlace Boards
- Recently Viewed in Portfolios
Each instance of the above widgets that is configured at the time of the February 2025 release will automatically be migrated to a separate instance of the Recent items widget using the same settings that are configured at the time.
IMPORTANT
Please advise users to review their affected widgets in case they would like to make any adjustments. For example, they may want to rename the widgets or consolidate multiple widgets into a single widget instance.
Special note regarding the Recently Viewed in Portfolios widget – If no entity types were specified in the original widget configuration, then all entity types were automatically included. After the migration to the Recent items widget, the widget will behave as before but the next time that the settings dialog is accessed, the entity types must manually be selected to comply with how the widget works.
