For multi-column charts:
TIP An attribute's value type indicates the format in which the relevant attribute's values are displayed, such as (but not limited to) currency, duration, or effort. When viewing a multi-bar or multi-column chart, the value types for attribute 1 and attribute 2 must match. For example, if you select an attribute that has a currency value type for attribute 1, then attribute 2 must also have a currency value type. To facilitate this, when you select attribute 1, the product filters the list of attributes for attribute 2 so it only includes those with the same value type as attribute 1. But, keep in mind that if you decide to go back and change attribute 1 to an attribute with a different value type, you must also change attribute 2 to a matching value type. To learn more about attributes, see Manage Attribute Screen Basics.
