Planview Copilot General Release Notes

2024.2.6 (March 4, 2025)

  • Planview Copilot can now allow users to save/favorite up to 50 prompts.
  • Planview Copilot can now show the details of the thinking process for every prompt executed.
  • When the router in Planview Copilot is calling mulitple tools, the tool calling is parallelized.

  • Planview Copilot now allows users to see exactly what documents are available to them in the "Knowledge Library" if they've provided Copilot with documents to ask questions about.
  • Planview Copilot now allows users to save/favorite prompts for future use!

Planview Copilot for Viz

2024.11.18 (Nov 18, 2024)

  • Planview Copilot can now analyze Flow Item Analyzer data! Users can ask questions related to the FIA including:
    • "What feature or work item has aged beyond 60 days?"
    • "What product or value stream in my current portfolio has the most aged work that's uncompleted?"
    • "List out all the defects and debt work that isn't closed yet for this value stream."

Planview Copilot for Portfolios

  • Planview Copilot for Portfolios can now interpret information below the PPL level in the Portfolios View - namely project plans and task information
    • "Summarize project [X] for me."
    • "For my worst performing project, what's the project status?"
  • Work assignments is now also supported from a surface level, allowing users to ask Copilot about project assignments
    • "What work is Kasey Fu assigned to?"

Planview Copilot for AgilePlace

2025.1.16 (Jan 16, 2025)

  • All users in Planview AgilePlace can now bulk-edit multiple cards at the same time through Planview Copilot, saving product managers, project managers, and scrum masters time. Simply go into AgilePlace and ask a few questions like the following:

    • Can you assign the tag "XYZ" to all cards in my board?

    • Can you assign myself to all cards in the "XYZ" lane?

2024.10.24

  • User awareness – allows Copilot to recognize which user it's interacting with to provide more user-specific answers and actions

    • "How many cards am I assigned to?"

    • "Assign me to all cards in the backlog"

  • Clean Backlog – identifies potential duplicate and stale cards within the backlog. Users can bulk merge duplicate cards together and act on stale cards. To try it out, right click on a lane title, and under “Copilot Actions,” select “Clean Backlog.”

Planview Copilot for AdaptiveWork

2024.10.1

  • Similar to Portfolios, AdaptiveWork can now also support project status reports!
    • "Write/Summarize a report for project [Insert name].”
