About data caching in the widget

The Insights widget prioritizes cached data so you can have immediate access to insights, ensuring fast response times without waiting for AI processing. Cached data is automatically refreshed 24 hours after the most recent refresh.

The widget footer includes a timestamp (labeled As of) that indicates when the data was last generated. To view more information about the cache status and the date and time for the next refresh (localized to the current user's time zone), point to the information icon info button in the widget footer.

Available functionality

To get started using the widget, you select options from the drop-down lists at the top of the widget. The options that are available depend on whether the widget was configured to provide insights on Planview Portfolios work or OKRs.

The following list shows tasks you can perform with the widget:

View Planview Anvi reports

Click Planview Anvi near the top right corner of the widget to select one of the reports listed in the following table.

Product Report Name Report Description
OKRs OKR quality check report

Provides a comprehensive health assessment of objective quality (inspirational language, customer focus, strategic alignment) and key result effectiveness (quantitative metrics, time-bound targets, outcome focus). Planview Anvi identifies structural issues such as missing dates, non-incremental targets, lack of linked work items, outdated key results, and excessive numbers of key results and then recommends improvements and adjustments.

OKRs OKR progress report Provides an overview of progress toward business goals by evaluating OKRs for advancement and risk factors. Planview Anvi analyzes objective progress, key result completion, and user activity to assess goal achievement. The report examines overall objective progress based on key result completion rates, incorporating progress update comments and flagging objectives behind target with specific reasons and corrective actions. It also identifies risks to objective success by highlighting blocked or delayed work, summarizes child objective status grouped by scope and identifies common themes around ownership and goal types, and recommends ways to mitigate risks, reallocate attention, and increase update frequency.
OKRs OKR executive summary report Delivers a concise strategic overview of OKRs tailored for executive audiences. Planview Anvi analyzes objectives and linked key results to understand their strategic intent and assess completeness and framing quality. The report provides an executive summary explaining what the objective and key results fundamentally aim to achieve along with a confidence assessment on achieving desired outcomes, focusing on key themes and executive-level insights that support strategic decision-making and resource allocation discussions.
OKRs OKR dependency risk report Shows dependencies and blockers that pose a risk to the completion of an objective by analyzing the connected work that supports key results. Planview Anvi shows timeline risks (such as misalignment and slippage) and delivery risks (such as blocked work, dependency chains, or unsupported key results), provides a risk narrative and rating (Red/High, Medium/Amber, Low/Green), and provides risk mitigation recommendations, including addressing timeline gaps, aligning delivery dates, escalating blocked work for resolution, and adding connected work for unsupported key results.
Planview Portfolios Summarize work status Provides a snapshot-in-time project health assessment by analyzing key performance indicators across multiple dimensions including execution progress, schedule adherence, financial health, and potential risk factors. Planview Anvi highlights critical signals that could stall progress while providing actionable metrics to help stakeholders quickly understand the current status, identify emerging issues, and make informed decisions.
ProjectPlace Summarize board status Provides a real-time board health assessment by categorizing active work items based on their risk level, momentum, and recent activity patterns. Planview Anvi highlights where work may need intervention, which items are advancing, and what recent actions have occurred to help teams prioritize efforts, address emerging issues proactively, and maintain workflow continuity.
