Duplicating a roadmap

You can create a copy of a roadmap, which you can then edit as required. When you duplicate a roadmap, the roadmap configuration, timeline dates, milestones, and display settings are copied and you have the option of copying just the roadmap or also copying its items. When the option to include roadmap items is selected, the Portfolios milestones and saved filters on the source roadmap are copied to the duplicate roadmap.

           

NOTES

  • Only the roadmap items that the you have direct access to are copied.
  • Dependencies are copied only if you have a Planview Roadmaps for Enterprise subscription.

           

  1. To create a copy of a roadmap, do one of the following:
    • To duplicate a roadmap from the roadmaps list, in the row for the roadmap that you want to copy, click the more options icon ellipsis_CC.png > Duplicate roadmap.
    • To duplicate the roadmap in the current view, click the more actions icon ellipsis_CC.png > Duplicate roadmap.
  2. In the Duplicate roadmap dialog, enter the name and description of the roadmap.
  3. To copy the roadmap items, select the Include roadmap items check box.
  4. Click Duplicate.
