Anvi pricing
Planview Anvi uses a consumption-based pricing model, similar to other AI solutions in the industry. Anvi subscriptions include a package of credits called Anvi AI Units (AAUs), which measure Anvi usage.
An AAU package contains a specified number of AAUs for a 12-month period. This annual AAU amount is for a customer's entire organization and is shared across all supported Planview products and licensed users for that customer. If you have a multiyear agreement, your AAU balance resets on your contract anniversary date to the full amount in your annual package. Any unused AAUs from the previous year expire on your contract anniversary date and do not carry over.
Administrators can track AAU balances and usage with the Anvi AAU dashboard in Planview Admin.
For more details, see the Planview Anvi pricing FAQ.
Not all Planview Anvi features require an Anvi subscription or use AAUs, as shown in the following table.

When AAUs are used
TIP
While most actions require AAUs, you can chat with Anvi about product help found in the Planview Customer Success Center without an Anvi subscription. And if you have an Anvi subscription, Anvi chats about product help found in the Planview Customer Success Center do not use your AAUs.
The following actions use AAUs when the action completes successfully:
- Anvi answers a question a user asked via chat that requires access to data other than the product help in the Planview Customer Success Center.
- Anvi executes a step in an agent. Note that every step in an agent requires AAUs.
- Anvi refreshes the data of an in-app feature, such as a widget.
NOTES
- If Anvi encounters a system error while generating the response to the user, no AAUs are used for that response.
- The number of thinking steps that Anvi takes does not use additional AAUs.
Successful Anvi actions
Anvi actions are considered to be completed successfully after all of the following have steps are successful:
- Anvi receives and processes your request.
- All required systems, tools, and third-party APIs complete their execution without a system-level error.
- Anvi returns a response to you.
Examples of unsuccessful Anvi actions
Anvi actions are considered to be not completed successfully when Anvi encounters a system-level error, include but not limited to the following scenarios:
- Internal server errors (such as an HTTP 500 response from an Anvi component).
- Failures of required APIs or tools that prevent a response from being generated with all the necessary data.
- Other technical issues that cause the request to fail or be generated with incomplete data.
Examples of AAU usage
The following table describes scenarios that use AAUs.
| Scenario |
AAUs used |
| A user asks Anvi a question via chat. Anvi responds with three thinking steps and generates a response. |
1 AAU |
| A user creates and schedules a five-step agent to run every Monday at 9:00 AM. |
5 AAUs every Monday (1 AAU for each step in the agent) |
| A user refreshes the Planview.Me Insights widget. |
1 AAU |
IMPORTANT
- Anvi provides automated responses generated by an AI system and does not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or suitability for any specific purpose.
- Credits are charged based solely on successful processing, not on customers' subjective evaluations of the responses.
- By using Anvi, you acknowledge and agree to this credit usage model.
