About editors

Editors are users that have the following additional access rights:

  • contributions to entity records and Insight items are committed immediately regardless of the content status
  • approve pending contributions
  • edit or delete the content status of an entity records and Insight items

A user can be granted editor access rights in the following ways:

  • by user to one or more entity types
  • by role to a group of entity types contained in a role
  • by module to the items in the Enterprise, Insight, or Administer modules

           

NOTE

Editor access can also be granted by default to all users in an organization.
