Task Skills

 

NOTE:
This tab only appears if skills are not hidden through General Settings.

Here you can optionally determine the skills required, and possibly the level of proficiency needed, to complete the task. Each resource may also have skills and levels defined and so you can match these skills in order to assign suitable resources to the task.

NOTE:
Changing the skill requirements for a task does not affect any resources that are already assigned.

 

 

Identify the required skills by either pressing:

•Default Project Skills to use the normal skills set for the project. When you confirm that you want to do this the default skills and levels are applied to the task.

•Select Skills to assign individual skills that are necessary to complete the task. Available skills can then be selected via a filter and added by clicking  .

For each selected skill requirement, you can define the skill level needed for the task. Choose a level from those listed. For skills that are no longer needed, click  and then Delete to remove them.
