Login - System Access
Check the boxes, providing the login is not marked as External on the General tab, to indicate what the login can do:
Super User can only be checked for one login and grants unlimited access, irrespective of permission settings. Any login with this box checked cannot be deleted nor have the box unchecked since there must be a Super User to ensure system access is always possible. However, if the box is checked for another login, it is automatically unchecked for the previous Super User.
Support User enables hyperlinks to Submit a new Ticket and View Existing Tickets in the user menu on the main KeyedIn screen.
Integration User applies if QuickBooks Integration is enabled through General Settings and identifies those using that integration.
Scheduled Report User will only be used when running scheduled reports.
API Roles identify which APIs the login has permission to use
Proxy Logins
Use this feature to grant permission to other users, except external users, to access your login during absence or for other reasons. Such users will be able to choose to log in as you from their Settings list and can then do everything you would be able to do. Any changes to data are, however, time stamped with their login details rather than yours to identify who actually made them.
You can click:
• Add and then select one or more (selection is described in Searching and Filters).
• Copy From to copy logins from another user (refer to Searching and Filters). These settings replace previous selections.
• Remove, after checking one or more records, to delete those that are no longer allowed access.
