Starting the Product

Once your browser is running, the product may start automatically. If not, you will access it by specifying its URL. You may do this by:

•keying the URL in the address bar of the browser (your System Administrator will provide the actual URL) or

•selecting from a ‘favorite sites’ list or

•clicking a desktop shortcut or

•choosing a link from your organization’s intranet.

The actual method you use will probably be specified by your System Administrator. When you successfully access the product, a login screen appears:

NOTE:
If single user sign-on is permitted, log in may not be necessary if you have already signed in to another identity provider (such as Salesforce).

Enter your Username and, if you have one, your Password where indicated. Then click the Sign In button.

If your details are incorrect or there are problems with your license, an error message will appear. Correct and re-input or contact your System Administrator for assistance.

If you enter login details incorrectly more than a set number of times within an hour, access will be prevented for a number of hours. The number of permissible correct entries and the lockout period are specified by your System Administrator.

If the login details are accepted, further messages may be displayed:

•if your password is due to expire shortly, a warning may appear. In this case, you can change the password now or may leave this until a later login.

•if your password has expired or the System Administrator requires you to change it, you must enter a new password immediately. You cannot proceed further until you do this.

NOTE:
The procedure for entering a new password is as described at Change Password. You must input a new password that differs to your previous one.

After successful login, you will see an initial desktop view. This depends on the default start page specified by your System Administrator. You can always return to this page and can change to any other, as described at Changing the Desktop View.
