Deleting Requests

 

This is a guide to explain how to delete requests if they are no longer required.

Please note the ‘Requests’ option will appear if you are using ‘Strategic planning’ Resourcing Mode, found in the Login Group.

The ‘Requests’ can be accessed under the ‘Resourcing’ menu Requests option.

In order for a request to appear, a forecast needs to be ‘Approved’ to pull through its Demand.

As an example, I will use the below Forecast:

The Forecast has a Demand of ‘20’ hours for March 2025. The Forecast has been approved.

Opening the ‘Requests’ screen and selecting the Project in the filter panel, will display the Demand requested for the period:

On the request screen It is possible to hover over the Demand to see a breakdown of Demand and Supply:

If the demand is no longer required then the demand can be cleared, to clear the demand the Project Forecast needs to be unapproved and this will delete the Demand from the Requests screen.

To do this you will go into the Project, Forecasts tab and click the three dots alongside the Live forecast.

Here you will see the 'Unapprove' button.

Going back to the Requests screen you will see that the row has now cleared.
