Planview Admin Release Notes - 01/26/24
We have deployed the following enhancements to Planview Admin during the week of January 26, 2024. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your PV Admin experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). Release notes for Planview Admin are published weekly on Fridays. The next set of release notes will be published on February 2, 2024.
In addition to the fixes and enhancements below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current PV Admin experience.

New Enhancements
New logging of Last Login information for users
Planview Admin now records the last login date for each user. This data can be viewed within Planview Admin.
Notable Fixes
Sync users action removed for some applications
The Sync users action was removed from Planview.me, Roadmaps, and Ideaplace. Users for these applications are managed entirely in Planview Admin, so there is no need to sync users back to them. This change was made to reduce confusion.
Returned SP Metadata did not match NameID policy format
The SP metadata produced by Planview Admin now honors the SAML NameID Policy Format specified in the Single Sign On Configuration -> Advanced Settings. Prior to this change, the mismatch could break a users IDP metadata.
