Planview Admin Release Notes - 05/10/24
We have deployed the following enhancements to Planview Admin during the week of May 10, 2024. This post is designed to help you understand how new and enhanced features can improve your PV Admin experience, and to guide you in making decisions about how to configure those features (if applicable). Release notes for Planview Admin are published weekly on Fridays. The next set of release notes will be published on May 17, 2024.
In addition to the fixes and enhancements below, this release contains various background improvements that lay the groundwork for future enhancements. They should not have an impact on your current PV Admin experience.

New Enhancements
Improvements to file handling in user imports
The user import system has been updated to be less restrictive. This change allows the CSV produced from user exports to be used in imports without modification. Previously, users would need to copy data from their exports into a separate template for imports.
New indicators in product tiles
Product tiles now include a colored dot that indicates whether or not Planview Admin authentication is enabled for that product. A green dot means that Planview Admin authentication is enabled. A gray dot indicates that it is disabled.
Notable Fixes
Planview Admin redirects to SSO when SSO is disabled
We fixed an issue that occurred when SSO is configured in Planview Admin but currently disabled. Users attempting to access connected products would still be redirected to their SSO provider instead of the Planview Admin login page. This no longer occurs.
