Logging In

To log into Planview Advisor, users need to enter a valid username and password into the Planview Advisor Login page.



Planview Advisor may be branded with a different name in your organization.


To log into Planview Advisor:
  1. Navigate to the your instance of Planview Advisor. The URL will be customized for your organization.



    These instructions only apply if your organization does not use SSO. If your organization has SSO enabled, log in to Planview Advisor through your SSO.          

  2. Enter your username.

  3. Enter your password.

  4. Click Log In.

You will be taken to the Home page once your login is successful.

If you forgot your password, you can reset it from the Login page.

To reset your password:
  1. On the Login Page, Click Forgot Password?

  2. In the Change Password Request, enter the email associated with your Advisor account.

  3. Click Submit. A URL to the Change Password form will be sent to your email. 



    The URL to the Change Password form is valid for only 15 minutes. If you do not submit an new password in that time, you will need to submit a new password change request using the steps above.

  4. Copy and Paste the URL from your email into a new browser tab or window.

  5. Complete the Change Password form and enter a new password.



    Your new password cannot be the same as your old password. Passwords must be at least 9 characters long and contain at least one upper-case character, number, and non-alphanumeric symbol(!,@,#,$,%,^,&,*,?,-,_,~,+,=), and must not contain commonly used dictionary words, passwords, or the user name.


  6. Click Submit.

  7. Click the link that appears at the top of the page to return to the Login page.

You can now use your new password to log into Planview Advisor.

To log out of Planview Advisor:
  1. Click Logout at the top of any page in Advisor.

You will be logged out and taken back to the Planview Advisor Login page.
