Planview Advisor Release Notes - Q3 2024

The following updates were made available for Planview Advisor during the third quarter of 2024. Since updates are applied on a per-customer basis, you may not see these changes in your instance of Planview Advisor. If there is an update you want applied to your instance, please contact your Customer Success Manager or Engagement Management.

General Enhancements

  • Pages used to view snapshots and portfolios have been updated with a new look and feel.
  • Fixed an issue with how dates are displayed. Months and days could be reversed when copied from Microsoft Excel. This issue only occurred with non-US date formats.

Workspace Enhancements

  • On the workspace management page, removing or publishing changes are now limited to the current workspace.
    • To quickly switch between workspaces, there is a new Make current workspace button.
    • Users receive a notification when they attempt to make changes in non-current workspaces.
  • The grid view in the workspace management page has been replaced with an adjustable table.
    • The Remove and Publish columns are consolidated into a single column for selecting rows.
    • You can now save filters as presets.
  • New columns have been added to the table on the workspace management page:
    • Module
    • User entered
  • Some columns have also been renamed:
    • Input is now Variable
    • Latest Published is now Date Published
    • Date Entered into Advisor is now Date

Admin Enhancements

  • Users attempting to upload files with the data shuttle are now warned when file names contain banned characters.
