Multi-factor Authentication
Multi-factor authentication adds an additional layer of security for organizations that use password authentication. With multi-factor authentication enabled, users will be prompted to enter a one-time code after they enter their passwords.
ADMIN
This setting only changes how password-enable users sign in. SSO-enabled users are unaffected.
To enable multi-factor authentication (MFA):
- In Settings, open the Security tab.
- Toggle on Enable multi-factor authentication.
- (Optional) Under MFA exceptions, click Add Users to select users that do not have to use MFA to sign in.
- Click Save.
Multi-factor authentication is now enabled and users will receive one-time codes in their email to sign in to Planview Admin. One-time codes expire after five minutes, after which, users will need to request a new code to sign in.
