Plutora Release Notes for November Release 2025
New Features
Release Smart Alerts
Navigation: Release > Manager
Visualize all release dependencies and adjust their dates in one place.
A new Release Smart Alerts button has been added next to the Implementation Date field in the Release window. The button is enabled only for users with Update Release permission.
Selecting the button opens the Release Smart Alerts dialog, which displays:
-
The current Release with its implementation date, Phases/Gates dates, Activities/Criteria dates, Bookings dates, Systems and Subsystems Deployment dates, and Events dates.
-
Family Releases and Linked Releases with their entities and corresponding dates.
-
A Gantt chart view.
-
A legend explaining icons used in the dialog.
-
A filters panel with options to adjust the primary release implementation date (auto-shifting selected entities), filter future/past dates, reset grid changes, and switch Gantt timescale (year, quarter, month, week).
Editable dates are limited to the current release (implementation date, phases/gates, activities/criteria) and linked/family releases with the same entities. Editing for other entities will be available in future updates.
Selecting Save updates modified entities with new dates, triggers relevant email notifications, and records all changes in audit history.
Benefit: Provides a unified, visual workspace for managing all release timelines and dependencies, improving visibility, control, and efficiency when planning or adjusting release schedules.
Environments Grid Filtering
Navigation: Environment > Manager
Easily filter environments in the grid. The Environments grid now supports filtering by both main and custom fields using standard grid column filters.
All applicable data types are supported for filtering. Users can quickly refine the grid view to locate specific environments based on any available field.
Benefit: Enhances visibility and control by allowing users to quickly locate and manage specific environments through flexible, field-based grid filtering.
Environment Health Check – Quick Access to Logs
Navigation: Environment > Environment Health Check
A new Logs button is now available directly on the Environment Health Check tiles, allowing you to open the logs window without navigating into the environment details view.
Benefit: Streamlined troubleshooting and faster access to key environment insights.
Usability Enhancements in Duplicate Deployment Plan
Navigation: Deployment > Manager
When duplicating a family of Deployment Plans, you can now bulk update Names using a text pattern – eliminating repetitive edits across each entity.
A new Select/Unselect All option has also been added to streamline the process and improve usability.
Benefit: Simplifies and accelerates deployment plan duplication by enabling bulk name updates and one-click selection management, reducing manual effort and improving overall usability.
Deployment Plan Activities – Smart Time Gap Management
Navigation: Deployment > Manager
We’ve enhanced how activity dependencies behave in deployment plans.
When removing an activity, users are now prompted to decide whether to shrink (collapse) the time gap between dependent activities.
Benefit: Deployment managers can quickly adjust activity chains without spending extra time manually editing individual activities or dependencies.
New permission: Add/Edit/Delete Deployment Plan Activities in Approved Mode
Navigation: Settings > User Management
Introducing a new permission for finer control of deployment plan management.
Admins can now control who can Add, Edit, or Delete activities even when a Deployment Plan is in Approved Mode.
Benefit: Organizations can enforce stricter governance by ensuring only authorized users can modify approved deployment plans. This resolves a previous limitation where no such restriction existed.
