Delete Release/Template

Introduction

Deleting a Release and Release Template will permanently remove it from Release & Verify. You can also Bulk Delete Releases and Release Templates.

The steps overlayed in this article is applicable to 

• delete a Release and
• delete a Release Template.

Pre-requisite

You must have the relevant ‘Delete’ user permission for the Release type. For example, ‘Delete Enterprise Release’.

Navigation

Release > Manager

Delete from the Pop-up

To delete a Release or Release Template:

1. Navigate to the ‘Release Manager’ page.
2. Click the Release or Template toggle button as required.
3. Click Release ID or Release Name to open.
4. Click  on the pop-up.
5. Click  again on the confirmation prompt.

The record will be deleted and no longer available on the grid.

Bulk Delete

To delete a Release or Release Template from the grid:

1. Navigate to the ‘Release Manager’ page.
2. Click the Release or Template toggle button as required.
3. Select the one or more Releases (or Release Templates) that you want to delete.
4. Click .
5. Click Delete.
6. Click  on the confirmation prompt.

Release & Verify will delete the Releases (or Release Templates) and no longer be available on the grid.
