Release and Verify Release Notes for April 2026

New Features

Linking TEBRs and TECRs

You can now link Test Environment Booking Requests (TEBRs) and Test Environment Change Requests (TECRs) in Release and Verify. Each type of request has a new tab where you can link to the other type of request and view any existing links.

From the Linked tab you can:

  • View existing linked requests
  • Search for other requests to link
  • Remove linked requests

Benefit: Environment managers gain visibility into how environments are used with bidirectional linking and tracking.

Improved filtering in CDP

In the Environment View there is a new Show All Systems toggle that appears when users group by system and apply a quick filter. With the toggle off, only the systems that match the filter are displayed. WIth the toggle on, grouping by system returns to its previous behavior.

Benefit: Users have the ability to hide irrelevant systems when filter for a specific system.

Endpoints for blockouts

This release includes new API endpoints to manage blockout periods. Users can create, read, update, or delete blockout periods from the Release & Verify API.

Benefit: Users can use the API to manage blockout periods.

Created Date and Last Updated columns

New Created Date and Last Updated columns were added to the Builds grid.

Benefit: These columns create higher visibility for the history of the build.

Status filter for builds

This release adds a status filter for builds that takes the form of a dropdown list. The build statuses available to the status filter are set by your Release &Verify Administrator.

Benefit: This gives users the ability to filter out unnecessary builds from their current workflow.

Knowledge Base migration to Planview Customer Success Center

The Release & Verify Knowledge has migrated to the Planview Custom Success Center website.

Benefit: Users that use multiple Planview applications will be able to access documentation for all those applications in one place. Additionally, users will be able to access the other services offered in the Customer Success Center.
