Bulk Update TECRs

Introduction

Bulk update the TECRs to save time. You can update the information like Assignee, Status etc. When bulk updating a field or a tab, data will either be replaced (in the case of text fields and drop-down menus) or added (in the case of Stakeholders and combo boxes). 

Pre-requisite

To bulk update TECRs, you must have ‘Bulk Update Environment Change Request’ user permission.

Bulk Update TECRs

To bulk update TECRs:

  1. Go to Environment > Requests.
  2. Click the TECR tab
  3. Search and select the TECRs you want to update using the filter options.
  4. Click Action.png.
  5. Select Bulk Update.
  6. The ‘Bulk Update’ pop-up opens. You can update the following fields:
Fields Description
Type Select a TECR Type from the drop-down menu. You can customize the Type using TECR Type Customization.
Assignee Select a User or User Group from the drop-down menu to assign the TECR to.
Start Date/Due Date Select the start and due date of the TECR.
Status Select a status from the drop-down menu. If the TECR workflow is enabled, you will not be able to change the status on this pop-up. For more details on TECR Workflow, see TECR Workflow
Outage If this update contains an outage or change in the outage, select the appropriate option from the drop-down menu and enter the dates accordingly. Select No if there is no outage for the selected TECRs.
  1. After making the required updates, click Update.png.

The page navigates back to the TECR grid and displays the TECRs with the updates.
