“As an Environment Manager, I want a Systems grid column filter so I can search all the fields, not just System Name and Alias.”

           

Redesigned Systems UI

  • Previously:
    • System Manager had a:
      • Tree structure without a grid column filter.
      • A Live Search field where only System Name or Alias could be searched.
    • System pop up (where Systems were added or edited):
      • Had to be closed before a user could use the navigation menu.
  • Now, System Manager is a grid with:
    • Grid column filter for all fields, and users can search for System Name or Alias independently.
    • Infinite scrolling.
    • A substantial performance improvement on large data sets.
    • Columns that can be shown or hidden from the Action menu.
  • Now, Systems to be added or edited appear in a page instead of a pop up. The page:
    • Does not cover up the navigation menu. You can navigate to any page while adding or editing a System or click the back button on your browser to return to the System Manager.
    • Has the following enhancements:
      • Field controls only appear when moused over.
      • If a field is empty, only the field name appears, which saves space.
      • Description field has a WYSIWYG editor that only appears when the field is being edited.
      • Fields expands dynamically to fit the text inside.
      • Custom fields, such as date picker, have a fresh, new look.
      • Stakeholder field shows a red exclamation mark when the user needs to click Save.
      • Dragging and dropping Systems works better.
      • No tabs. System Dependencies is now a panel, which opens as a pop up when clicked.
      • Success messages have a fresh, new look.

TIP

New API JSON response body for GET ALL.

“As a Release Manager, I want to see more attributes, such as returnCount, in my API response bodies when I request a paginated response.”

           

API Response Body Enhancement

  • Now, if pagination (pageNum) is used for GET ALL, the resulting JSON response body will:
    • Be wrapped in resultSet and contain the following attributes:
      • returnCount.
      • totalCount.
      • pageNum.
      • recordsPerPage.
  • The old  JSON response body, without resultSet or the attributes, will still be produced if pageNum is not used, up until May or June 2019 when the resultSet JSON will become the default.
  • Please update your scripts to use pagination after this release, so you are prepared for the coming change.

New Jenkins data cube in Plutora Analytics.

Jenkins Executions Data Cube

  • Now, you can use the following new Plutora Analytics data source:
    • Located under Home / Environments:
      • Jenkins Executions: Track the number of times Jenkins executions have run, for which Environment, for how long, whether the result was a success or a fail, and more.

Bulk Import Changes

  • Now, Changes can be bulk imported via a new import wizard that enables you to:
    • Download a template with all fields (including custom fields) pre-populated as column headings.
    • Automatically map columns based on field names.
    • Validate the data prior to executing the import.
    • View a detailed summary and log once the import is complete.

  • 00007865: [PIR] Only users who have raised a PIR or PIR Item are now listed in the Raised By grid column filter.
  • 12851: [Email Template Wizard] Initiative Management forms with the Trigger Any Value Updated and  no longer send emails containing broken links with spaces.
  • 13481: [Home Page Customization] Values other than Home (Default) are now saved.
  • 13506: [User Management] Send Broadcast now sends an email to all the selected users in the Email To field.
  • 00013627: [ETL] PIRs can now be associated with child Project Releases.
  • 00013692: [Organization Structure] Fifth-level organization structures can now be added.
  • 13812: [API] The Swagger UI template no longer shows Layers in POST /Hosts/ and POST /Hosts/bulk.
  • 12947,13024: [Deployment Plan] When importing Deployment Plan Activities via Excel file where the Activity Sets column is present: blank Planned Start Time and Downtime From fields are not auto-filled with 01/01/2001 00:00, and Will this cause a downtime? is not imported as On when it should be Off.

Plutora Test

  • 12998: [Requirements] Using Advanced Search for 'ExternalID' 'within' 'Requirement ID' (for example, ExternalID within ID1) now yields search results instead of the error message: Sorry something went wrong. 
  • 13809: [Test Execution] Grid and Requirement panels now load without errors.
