My Assignments widget (administrators)

Description

The My Assignments widget displays information about allocations and reserves. Administrators can configure this widget to appear in Planview.Me and in Planview Portfolios in the My Overview, work portfolio, and work entity contexts.

The information displayed depends on where the widget is located:

  • In Planview.Me the widget displays information about the allocations and reserves assigned to you and to the resources to which you have permissions.
  • In Planview Portfolios, the widget displays information about allocations and reserves in the context of where you are viewing the widget:
    • When viewing the Overview tab on My Overview, it displays information about all allocations and reserves assigned to you.
    • When viewing the Overview tab for a specific work portfolio, it displays all allocations and reserves assigned to you in that work portfolio.
    • When viewing the Overview tab for a specific work entity, it displays all allocations and reserves assigned to you for that work entity.

Configuration settings

An administrator can configure the following settings for the My Assignments widget in Planview Admin by clicking ellipse_vertical_dk_gray.png > Settings:

  • Edit the widget title.
  • Edit the widget description.
  • Select which type of assignments (allocations, reserves, or both) the widget should display.
