Configuring Data Table Columns
The following configuration is maintained in the Table Columns node in the Report ID branch of the RPM Report configuration Structure. | |||
Parameter | Description | Configuration Options | Example Settings |
Table Columns | This report supports the option to configure the columns displayed in the report table. | Portfolio Demand Types: Planning (PLN) reports can be executed across any Investment & Capacity Planning portfolios, which means selections could include demand from either work, strategy or outcomes. This means a single set of table configuration defaults would not be suitable for all of the potential demand entity types. To support the use of various portfolio demand types, table column configuration defaults can be configured for each entity type, and the report will automatically determine the relevant table column configuration entries for the demand type of the selected portfolio. Up to four columns can be configured in the report. Of the four configurable columns in the report, 2 columns will appear before the project name column and 2 columns will appear after. Defaults for the four columns can be added to the configuration structure for each entity type, Work, Strategy and Outcomes. The table columns will display in the order in which they appear in the configuration structure.Four columns for each entity type Recommendations: It is recommended that WBS parent levels are used in the first two columns. It is recommended that the second two columns are used for key status and/or responsibility attributes |
The following table columns are included in the default RPM Configuration for the report. When portfolio demand is set to work:
