Running Jobs

Running a job

You can run a job using the Job Manager provided that the job has been configured with a category. If the job or any of its sub-jobs, predecessor or successor jobs are currently running, the job is queued until the previous run is completed. 

For transform jobs, ensure that the related extract jobs are current.

To run a job manually:

  1. Click Administration > Job Manager.

  2. Click + Run Job

  3. Select the job category and name.

  4. Click Run. The job is added to the list.

Viewing job details and history

To view more information about a job run:

  1. To view the sub-jobs for the job, click the chevron icon > in the first column.
  2. To view the job details, click the job name in the list. The Job Details view appears:
    • If the job is still running, the current status details (step name or count of affected objects) are displayed

    • If the job has finished, the final times and step/object counts are displayed.

  3. The Messages section lists all of the informational, warning and error messages. To copy a message, click the copy icon squares_copy_dk_gray_CC.png.

  4. Click a sub-job to view its status details.

Stopping a job

You can stop a job while it is in progress.

To stop a job:

  1. Click Administration > Job Manager.
  2. In the job row, click ellipse_vertical_dk_gray.png> Cancel Job.
