Creating, Editing, and Deleting Component Instances

To create a component instance

  1. Click Administration > Data and Types.
  2. In the left pane, do one of the following:
    • In the Browse pane, right-click the component type, and then click Create.
    • Click the Create button, and then select the component type.
  3. Complete the fields, and then click Save.

To edit or delete a component instance

Click Administration > Data and Types.

To locate the component instance by browsing:

  1. In the Browse pane, expand the Instances folder for the component type.
  2. Right-click the component instance, and then select View.
  3. Edit or delete the component instance.
  4. Click Save.

To locate the component instance by searching:

  1. In the Search pane (below Browse), select or create a query.
  2. Enter or select a value for all query parameters.
  3. Click Search.
  4. Right-click the component instance, and then select View.
  5. Edit or delete the component instance.
  6. Click Save.
