Will IdeaPlace connector connect to Strategies in Portfolios or just Work? IdeaPlace will connect to Portfolios at Work level, where an Idea will create a Work (Project) when synced from IdeaPlace. 
Is it possible to use Idea Place with on premise Planview Portfolios instance? Eventually we will be moving to cloud It is only Cloud, not on-prem.
Are there plans for IdeaPlace connector to go into Strategies in the future? We will see, we’d like to see how sending Ideas to create Project/Work goes first and will be keeping an eye on the Strategies use cases. Please do feel free to send me your use case details!

Is there a way to register a planned absence in ProjectPlace? It's not optimal to have it under "Meetings." Planned absences in projects are crucial and deserve a dedicated section. Not right now. This is something that we have in the backlog.
Are these canned resource management reports?  can we add or delete any resource attributes on these reports.... Yes!
Is there any plan to change how up to date the supported version of Power BI is? September 2022 is way old for the version our company uses corporately We are currently evaluating the latest version of Power BI Report Server (Jan 2023) to then approach a broader upgrade. We carefully evaluate these updates from MSFT to ensure continuity of this key service. Please reach out to myself and Mauricio to discuss more if you'd like.
In one of our fields in a columnset, Planview has set a 2k character limit for meeting notes and is causing leadership meetings to be severely limiting for our organization. Planview has in the past, increased character limits for our Executive Status Reports and for us, this would be similar to that. Can you help increase character limits to fields in a Portfolio dashboard? While we won't be able to increase the 2k limit when editing within the table/grid from the dashboard, those fields are still editable beyond 2k characters when being edited in a configured screen.
We use Requests module to gather business cases and only those that get approved become projects. Why is IdeaPlace not using Requests module? Essentially, the workflow approach in IdeaPlace operates differently to that specific use case. It’s not a replacement (yet) for a Requests module. IdeaPlace uses a broader group to generate, prioritize and select ideas before handing them off. That frees up time for users involved in assessing requests as the group or crowd does that heavy lifting for them. If you are handling smaller numbers of requests and can take the time to review them all individually, it may be better to consider IdeaPlace as different approach.
Is it possible to extract dashboards into PowerPoint for example? Within the embedded tile in Portfolios this export type is not supported. However if you've got a presence and connectivity to the Power BI service (app.powerbi.com) there is an export option to PPTX within that Power BI offering.
If we have resource utilization (time entry) data in JIRA, can you pull that data into this report ?

If you are integrating this time from JIRA to Portfolios then yes the timesheet data will be visible in this dashboard.

If you are not interfacing the JIRA time into Portfolios then there could be options with OData/PowerBI to mash up Portfolios and JIRA data. However, in this scenario you would need to use PowerBI.com and not a Portfolios PowerBI tile
We like the new Product Switcher. It would be great if the product that you select would open in a new separate tab (like it is doing in Portfolios). Is that something you have considered to change? We have talked about having that as the default behavior if you just click on your choice, but it is possible already today if you right-click on the option you would like to navigate to and choose 'open link in new tab'
Is there any future enhancement or add functionality to allow dashboards to be exported to ppt? Are there plans to have PowerBI Dashboards avaialble for EA? Currently we have an OData service to support self-service creation of content and dashboards by customers. We have looked at some options on providing some Day-1 dashboards for EA but nothing in the short term
Don't understand why PV Master will be lost. Why is that the case? Seems to be sudden. PVmaster will still be there but we are moving away from using pvmaster for our Planview support and consulting needs
We are in the process of converting legacy to enhanced screens. Is there any guidance available for accessing the CRI basic screen and converting that to Enhanced screen? Great work with Power BI report for Resource Management. It Could be useful to add some filters (Portfolio, Work Status etc) on the main tabs ie Activity Analysis or Demand vs Capacity PowerBI is easy to adapt and evolve and all the tabs in the report include a filter panel. Datasets can be updated and pbix modified to add additional slicers. You can do this yourself or as for help from the GRS team.
