Can you talk about the pop-ups that are showing on October Release 2023. Pop-up regarding introducing the Portfolio UI changes. Can you share the context on what type of content is going to be poping out? are those pop-ups optional etc.? can they be disabled? The pop up is not optional, as we want to make sure all end users have an opportunity to access the brief set of content Malcolm linked above (so that there are no surprises!).

Hi - can you please remind when the monthly releases are rolled out to Sandbox and Production environments? Release dates are unique for each customer, depending on the schedule agreed with Cloud Ops. When will Portfolios allow Power BI Desktop  (not Power BI report server) ? You can use PowerBI Desktop now. If you are creating a report tile to laod into Portfolios (pvcloud Report Server) then you need to use PowerBI Desktop for PowerBI Report Server September 2022 release.

Are any of the out of the box power bi dashboards like Resource Management premium tiles? Which out of box are premium? We have out of the box PowerBI reports that can be used in pvcloud Report Server and in PowerBI.com (premium)

Will power bi reports ever be available on menus other than My Overview? They are available now on Work, Resources, Strategy and Outcomes
Got it -- so will portfolios ever allow reports built with Power BI Desktop to be loaded in as a tile? You MUST create PowerBI reports in PowerBI Desktop to then load into the pvcloud PowerBI Report Server

if that workspace access is off will administrators still be able to add external members? If the the account administrator has disabled the possibility for workspace members to add new external members then workspace members will not be able to add within the workspace but need to reach out to the account admin. Only account administrators can add external members. By default workspace members are able to invite external members.

Yes, we have plans to update to a later version. We're currently looking into May 2023 we will update progress in the next monthly webinar.
Will security updates be made to portfolio sharing so that User Grants are applied to shared portfolios they access? There are no planned changes to the fact that sharing a Portfolio gives "secondary" grants. This is working as designed.
can we turn sentiment off in Project Place? Not yet, but this will be added to the product shortly.
So we take power bi OOTB dashboards and upload it to our company's powerbi.com and I do see in our company's powerbi.com workspace the diamond. But the webinar demo showed the tile in planview with the diamond. So are Planview customers using OOTB dashboards off Planview's powerbi.com workspace through Planview portfolios? Yes, you can associate reports and dashboards published to powerbi.com to portfolios as powerbi premium tiles. So doeas that mean if we are using Portfolio licenses in Planview portfolios we do not need to have seperate liceses for agile place, or the other way around. If we have PPM Pro licesnes we do not need to have Planview Portfolio licenses? If you happen to have either Portfolios License (such as Administrator, Portfolio Manager and Team Member) or PPM Pro License (such as Administrator and Team Member), for each of these licenses you get a corresponsing license of AgilePlace and ProjectPlace.
Let me rephrase, Will power bi reports be able to be used at the Entity level (not the portfolio) Work/Project, Strategy, Resource Currently they can be at the portfolio level only. It would be helpful if ALL of the presenters used the ribbon flag in the upper right corner consistently to mark the slides as something that's in the current release or coming soon. Thanks for that input -- we can get those added to the presentation deck before it gets sent out, and keep those consistent moving forward

You can run both these products at the same time on your computer

If you create a pbix in a version newer than September 2022 you will NOT be able to upload it to the pvcloud report server through Reporting Content Management
Ok so that means with my Planview Portfolios license I am also licensed to Projectplace and AgilePlace, but not to PMM Pro right? Correct, PPM Pro is a mid-tier PPM solution that is independent of Portfolios…but if you were using PPM Pro instead of Portfolios, it is similar with respect to AgilePlace and ProjectPlace access.
Do we need to have PowerBI Sept 2022 or Oct now?  I thought you could only load dashboards in Planview using PowerBI Sept 2022? Correct - for upload into Portfolios as a pvcloud report serevr tile you MUST create the pbix in PowerBI Desktop for Report Server September 2022 release
FYI --- Someone mentioned the link to Success Center from the Info Guide pop-up with the new navigation causes an issue.  I get the issue as well.  The error is "File has been removed" Thanks to all who have helped identify this, this has now been fixed in the pop-up.
