Important Prerequisites

Before you begin the Planview Portfolios Reporting and Schema learning videos, you must complete the following items:

  • Ensure administrative and report design access to a Portfolios environment for the purpose of developing reports, testing reports, and developing shared datasets
  • Download and install Microsoft SQL Server Report Builder from Microsoft
  • Access the latest Database Schema Documentation for Portfolios
  • Download the dataset queries. Depending on your operating system and settings you may need to unzip the downloaded file to access its contents. These files will be referenced during the e-learning, so please have them available during that time. 

Learning Videos

Planview Portfolios is formerly known as “Planview Enterprise One”, which you will see referenced throughout the videos. These videos also show an older version of Microsoft Report Builder (Report Builder 2016). The content remains applicable to Portfolios and the latest version of Report Builder.
