Enterprise One Q&As - November 2020 Release Webinar

Question Answer
Is Planview still commited to resolve critical and major bugs? Lately I notice that the raised critical and major bugs (not an enhancement) are closed immediate with no further communication and no visibility to customer. Also critical and major bug only get addressed if enough customer complain. Can you elaborate more on the Scoring System? Or is this more approach for shifting resources from E1 to other products? Planview is currently investing heavily in several things as it relates to Enterprise One.  We have several quality initiatives including automated testing and other activities - as we really want to eliminate bugs before they get to anyone.  We are also trying to  improve the transparency of the ticketing process will providing feedback faster.  This is using a multi-prong approach for reported issues including triage meeting and other operations.  The intent is to appropriately assess the issues without the need for escalation using standard software techniques using severity and criticality which includes factors such as number of customers impacted, working as designed, is the issue a use case we didn't design for,  etc.  We are deeply committed to our monthly delivery approach to keeping customers current. We have ongoing work in this area (and I'm sure we're not perfect), so if you (or anyone) would like to discuss ways to improve the process (or just discuss a single ticket) Scott would be happy to meet with you.  You can reach him directly at stownsend@planview.com.

We are investing across our products in which to create more value for our Enterprise One customers.  We encourage you to join our 2021 and beyond roadmap session on November 12th to learn more.  As always, please reach out to us directly with questions regarding any specific is
Is there a plan to add res28 and wrk28 into Efforto1? Hello - Effort01 Beta is not the base report to feed RES or WRK 28 at this time.
Effort01 Beta - Paul showed the mini-demo page under the October 2020 release notes.  Will this be available with Oct 2020? The 'mini demo' page will always be available and constantly updated!
Will I have to upgrade to a new version of Planview that includes the latest Fastrack updates in order to get the beta version? Hello Casey - Effort01 Beta will be deployed with the November 2020 update so yes you'll need to schedule an update to November in order to get this new Beta report.
When will Work be included in the multi-select in column set and will it be possible to edit in the future? We actually released the Work multi-select functionality in the October release.
If we use Web Services today would we continue with those or should we look at converting to RPA?  Benefits? RPA is not meant to replace any web services you have already setup. I would suggest working with your consultant to determine what process gaps might exist that would be optimal for process automation.

Is Kodi available for Europe? It wasn't in the past? Planview Kodi is supported for SaaS environments hosted in the U.S. If the environment you are using is hosted in the U.S., then you can use Planview Kodi. All other regions are not supported at this time due to GDPR.
WRT Kodi....  If we enable this technology and our end users search on features we do not use (example Allocations) will it return results or do we have the ability to shut off certain content that would be detrimental? Currently the only commands that are available are 'Assign Resources/Reserve Resource' (which only uses Reserves at PPL); and 'Search Column Sets' (which returns up to 15 rows of data from your WAA column set). The user will not be able to perform anything in Kodi that they cannot perform in Planview. The commands will still be available, but the action will not work if that feature is disabled or the user does not have the right grants.
What type of user license do you need to use Planview Kodi? Any licensed Enterprise One PRM user where the environment is Hosted.
When will Planview Kodi made availble to On Premise customers? Kodi is only available for SaaS customers. On Premise is not planned at this time.
Does Kodi only show one row of a column set? Kodi returns the data for the entity (single project) and not a portfolio of projects.
Do you know if the ability to remove/update resource allocations will be available with the RPA at some point? Currently we have published in the UiPath Marketplace the ability to use the API Activity Library. This will allow you to customize your recipes as it relates to Rates and Resource Attribute administration. This API library is geared towards an RPA Engineer that is familiar with RPA technology.
Are the changes to the RMA showing unassigned resources definitely coming in December? That functionality has already gone through our testing process so unless an unexpected surprise happens, it will be in December.
regarding action items, what is WAA Apologies, that is the Work and Assignments screen.
Will the number field be aligned left or right in the grid? (currently it is right) Good question - we have not changed the alignment of the data within the columns, but we will align the column header to the content in December as well.
