Enterprise One Q&As - December 2020 Release Webinar

Question Answer
Will the E1 Connector with Leankit be able to sync data in CTM for Projects? Not at this time. Projects can come into CTM from PRM.  So, you could bring projects from LeanKit through PRM to CTM.
This Enterprise One and LK integration is for Planview E1 SAAS instances, correct? Correct. Not supported for On Prem.
Any thoughts on the ability to have a template choice that allows both a PP and a LK phase in projects One of the use cases we are working on to see if they can be supported is to have a single project linked with both LeanKit and Projectplace.
I have some preemptive questions around the enhancements on "Resource Management and Assignments Screen - Enhanced Handling of Unassigned Resources"
"The default is to enable this functionality, but this can be turned off by the user"
Two questions
1.  Safe to assume that this will automatically be turned ON.
2.  Is there a way to disable allowing users to "turn off" this feature.
1. Yes, this will be turned on by default
2. At this point, we do not have the ability to prevent users from changing the setting.
We are not using PRM in this case and don't want to use PRM as a middle man for just passing data between CTM and Leankit, that's way to complex to to have data sync flow to PRM first since we are not using it. Understood. A CTM-LK sync is not something that is currently supported but it is something we would like to build in the future.
Will the default column sort also work on the Portfolio Manager Tile in CTM? We started with the tile first, so it is not supported for the portfolio manager.
Why is the sort column order saved to the tile and not the column set, because the column set can be used in multiple tiles in CTM? We originally thought of this model, but went with the tile approach. But I do see your point. I'll consider that for a future update.
Will the Visio plug in also support relationship bundling just like Troux Architect? Will it support multiple Layout Strategies just like Troux Architect like preset that you can select? We are not saving layout strategies at this time or relationship bundling.
What's the difference between Portfolio Manager (Styled) tile and Portfolio Manager tile? Is Styled using the "Analyze"? Apologies, but yes, it's just a tile that I created using the Analyze button (and added some colors)
Can you search for action item IDs in the Search field in the upper right? Yes (using the text search for the specific grid)
Will the Action Item ID be syncronized from Projectplace to Planview as well? The action item ID is not the same as the card ID within Projectplace (it's simply a unique identifier within E1)
I did not see Action Item ID for action items in the backlog in your demo. I thought the release notes mentioned it will list for the backlog items too. Yes, the action item ID will be displayed as the left-most column in the Backlog pivot within WAA. And I should mention that we still only have the action item ID in the hover of the left pane (Schedule and Backlog pivot)
Is there a limit to how long the URL can be? The database field is set to 1,000 character limit.
In the Dec2020 release notes: The Coming Soon for New 'announcement' is missing the actual screenshot. Currently says (screenshot-2.png) When will that be updated? Hmm, I see a screenshot on that entry.  I wonder if something else is happening possibly with the browser (or maybe I'm looking at something different).  To confirm, are you looking at this entry 'Notifications - Admin-Defined Announcements'
Report Metrics question.  We have found in our on-prem SSRS report metrics that if a user's last focus tile was a report tile, each time they go to that portfolio view screen or My Overview, a hit is recorded though the user did not access the screen with the intent to run that report.  Does this still exist with FastTrack reports because it skews the numbers. The source is the same for the metrics you're looking at and what we're using to build this report I highlighted. It's a challenge for sure that we would ideally address with ongoing iterations of this report.
With the removal of access to the report server, how can we execute an existing subscription on demand like we currently can from the report server? Standard Subscriptions are to be managed via the Enterprise One UI pages that are available. We do not support on demand standard subscriptions and only allow minimum 2 hour frequency for subscription definition. This limit is in place to ensure smooth operation across all subscription activity on the reporting service. For Targeted Subscriptions those schedules are managed via job streams and therefore can be executed on demand.
I would like the link related to Request Intake as we are consumers of this functionality. https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=KtAX_lCAYEqzRYUA8sjlWSKU525YjatPn1z9sfwC5ERURTJVTlRaSDNTRDQ3NEFXMEs3Sjk3MVFIWi4u
