OVERVIEW

Core Administration for Planview IdeaPlace is an immersive, interactive class that teaches methodologies for innovation and idea management, forming and framing the challenge question, and challenge set up and execution.

This course provides understanding of crowdsourcing theory and methodologies that drive massive engagement throughout the organization, core features and functionality required to design and complete innovation challenges and provides step-by-step instructions leading to the launch of an actual innovation challenge. Get up to speed quickly and realize larger returns on innovation investments.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES

At the end of this course, you will learn the following skills:

  • Learn to define challenge structure.
  • Identify key implementation elements of challenges.
  • Create and configure challenges within the platform.
  • Manage user, roles, and access.
  • Add and modify site content on demand.
  • Manage idea graduation criteria.
  • Align tasks within challenge structures and roles.
  • Validate challenge activity through real-time analytics.

LEARNING LEVEL

Beginner 

Aimed at individuals who have some familiarity with the subject but are still in the early stages of learning.  Participants build a strong foundation for more advanced studies.

WHO SHOULD ENROLL

This course is geared towards Innovation Program and Community Managers, Project Leaders, and Administrators who will configure, supervise, and monitor the IdeaPlace platform on behalf of their organization or business unit.

FORMAT

  • Four (4) half-day sessions in a virtual classroom, or two (2) full-day sessions in an onsite classroom.
  • All instructor-led classes are delivered hands-on in a virtual training environment.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Foundational level Planview platform knowledge required.
  • Fundamental understanding of crowdsourcing theory and methodologies.
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Posses image manipulation skills.
  • Basic HTML tagging and structuring knowledge.
