Team Autonomy and Portfolio Visibility in the World of Connected Work Q&As - Webinar

Question Answer
What is Planview Portfolio's? Is that PPM Pro? Planview Portfolios is the product formerly known as Enterprise One. The connected stories and use cases however are supported and applicable to PPM Pro.
This may be addressed later in the presentation but how do you recommend clients rolling up reporting at a portfolio level or executive level? Action Items dashboard being shown here is an example of that Portfolio level/stakeholder visibility to aggregate that team based progress to work delivery.
We use ProjectPlace and are forced to maintain the Gantt view / Kanban view separately - moving the timeline of one doesn't affect the other causing us to maintain both. Is there work being done to align these.... or are we perhaps not configured / using it correctly? We are taking a serious look at allowing ProjectPlace to own the plan and Portfolios receive those updates without the need to duplicate.
Does this assume that teams are not using another ALCM tool like ADO or Jira? In these examples there are teams that are delivering in either ProjectPlace or AgilePlace. That said...specifically with the connected AgilePlace story - we can absolutely connect deeper in the dev/dev ops toolchain like ADO and JIRA with that work representing on AgilePlace boards which then flow up to Portfolios.
Unfortunately AgilePlace does not support integration of custom fields from Portfolios. Indeed we are currently constrained to 6 attributes on cards that write back to Portfolios. One of our backlog items is to look at custom field mapping on cards to work attributes in Portfolios. Thank you for confirming this is a high value enhancement.
