Enterprise One Q&As - Q2 2022 Release Webinar

Question Answer
Is this presentation only about LeanKit? This is a product update that covers all Enterprise Applications which does include LeanKit but encompasses Enterprise One, Projectplace and Platform Administration.
What is the licensing model for the Planview Roadmaps application? Access to Planview Roadmaps will be an included capability within the Planview FLEX Platform offering. Put a different way Roadmaps will not be commercially represented as a separate SKU but will be included in the current licensing umbrella. User management and providing access will be performed within Platform Administration (PVID) which we'll cover a bit later.
Is CTM within the scope of the UI enhancements? Yes, CTM is also getting an updated UI to align with PRM, and will be covered here shortly.
Are these enhancements today only with Enterprise App? These UX/UI specific items that Leila is covering are targeted for Enteprise One
What about the ability to publish Power BI Dashboards directly to a tile in CTM (like it is in PRM)? At this time we do not have any short term roadmap commitments to open up Power BI dashboard tiles in CTM.
I just want to confirm that each project sync is one project or workspace to one project in Enterprise One.  Correct? Correct, it’s a 1:1 relationship between PP Workspace and E1 Project
Will there be syncing from ProjectPlace to PPM-Pro soon? We are currently working on an updated version of the Projectplace- PPM Pro connection and this will enable some level of ability to sync also from Projectplace up to PPM Pro.  Planned release before the end of the year.
Versus the ability to sync specific activities of a project to E1. With Partial WBS sync it would still be 1:1 relationship between PP  Workspace and Project in E1
Do you see leankit and ProjectPlace being merged into a single product in the future? Although there is some overlap with the boards functionality between LeanKit and Projectplace they often cater to very different use cases and we do not have any plans currently to merge them into a single product.
Is "Platform Management" and "Planview ID" the same thing? I.e. just a rebranding? If not, what is the difference? Planview ID is one capability within Platform Administration (Platform Management).
Thanks.  Someday I hope to have the ability to  link / sync at the activity level instead of top project level This should be covered with the 'sync only part of the plan' update if I'm not mistaken? We'll hopefully make this available before the end of this year.
How will we be able to asses the effort needed to transition to Platform User Management, especially for customers using SSO on Enterprise One? Is there documentation already on SSC? Or better, is it totally transparent? We do have a CSC page on Platform Administration: https://success.planview.com/Planvie...Administration
How do we get access to Planview ID/Platform Administration? Can we get access now? Sandbox? Production? Yes, you just need to send in a ticket to Customer Care and they will help you get that set up.
Should ProjectPlace also be included on slide #31 for platform administration?? Yes, Projectplace is also within the scope for Platform administration coverage.
Is Platform Administration available for on-prem customers of E1? Platform Administration is a SaaS offering only and does not operate within the realm of an on premises deployment of Enterprise One.
Will the REST API affect the user experience, or will it be seemless? REST API support in Enterprise One will be seemless to customers/users. The key user group that is targeted for REST API support is the technical integration teams within an organization that need programatic access to PRM data bound for up/down stream systems.
When will Planview start inner circle for REST APIs We will get to that at the end of the presentation
SLide #39 - what does 'EA' stand for? Is it Enterprise Architect or Enterprise Administrator? It stands for Enterprise Architecture
Is there consideration for adding map-based insights to CTM as an option e.g. using location metadata for components to populate on a map? This functionality exists in Power BI as another example. A native map visualization is not on the roadmap for CTM. Power BI and SSSR provide a map report.
Is the metamodel migration utility for on-premise customers only? The utility will support SaaS customers.
With copying boards in PP, will that work with templates too, and if the workspace is linked to PPM will it still work? It will not be possible to copy a board from one workspace template to another initially, but it will be possible to copy a board into a workspace that is linked with one of our PPM applications
