Guidelines for the Shared AdaptiveWork clone
Environment Do’s and Don’ts

This Environment is a Demo Clone, managed by the Solution Consulting Technology team.

It is a ‘clone’ located in AdaptiveWork Sandbox area, owned/managed by the SC team.
-
There is one ‘mc’ user shared across the team. It is an administrative user so you can inspect and show administrative configurations.

It is a DEMO setup, it is not a vanilla OOTB install. The configurations inside have been built and deployed by Solution Consulting to facilitate how to meet customer scenarios. Implementing these features for a customer will have a cost.

It IS intended to use for:

(Vanilla) Demonstrations
-
Exploration of what options are available.

It is NOT:
-
A per-user Sandbox.
-
Intended for making hands-on configuration changes to break things as part of an intensive learning.

A configured Demo environment.
-
Used for Showing Integrations.
-
Changes you make will impact the others.
-
Updates and Troubleshooting

Your demo clone automatically gets all product upgrades as they become released.

For new Demo Features:

SC Tech Publishes a Monthly (end of Month) update for new demo features available replace your clone:

These are noted on #sc_adaptivework Slack channel with a link to the corresponding CSC page.

A new CSC page is created for each Month’s release

If there are errors in the environment, submit a SC Tech Refresh request. We will delete and replace the Clone with a new copy of it based on the latest DemoGold.
Refreshing and Troubleshooting

There is a formal refresh request process (SC Request Form) if you want us to delete and recreate the clone for the team.
