Logbook = Issue Tab with new categories? Logbook is more than the Issue tab because you can add additional categories and the information is synced to Portfolios.

Can logbook items flow into Lifecycles? Yes, they are independent areas today. You can use an internal reference link in a configured screen to get it added. Workflow is coming to Logbook in Q3.
Can one entry be associated with more than one project/work live answered
So, it looks like there is no direct link to OData or Tableau? You have to download into Excel then connect it from there. Is that correct? There is a direct OData capability. In the demo - the Work Portfolio Dashboard with Logbook is using OData capabilities.

It looks like Logbook could be a way for us to store any data that would best be managed in a table (rather than having to set up multiple versions of related fields on a screen).
For example:
Solution1: sol1 data1, sol1 data2, sol1 data3.

It is on the Roadmap. WRK14 is available today.

Can you tell me if the risk / issue of a project that are already defined in portfolio and Project Place will be automatically available in logbook? To add to what Sindhu provided, Due to our incremental approach, migration will be manual and each customer can migrate when ready. This is why UI based import for Logbook is so important, and currently supports creation of new logs.
When an @mention is added to a comment, how will that be sent to the person? In email / tool notification etc.? Does the person you @mention need to be a user? live answered

Is Logbook included in our Portfolios/ProjectPlace subscription, or is there an additional cost? Yes it is included with no additional cost. You just need to be on the April 2024 release and turn it on / set it up.
Is there a time frame on the dependency management element for log book? live answered
We use WRK14 Reports for Stage Gate Documents in Portfolios and include Risks from CRI if the PM chooses to show them - We are introducing Logbook and planning to move our Risks there (we will migrate existing risks from CRI), will we still be able to show the Risks from Logbook in the WRK14 reports? live answered
What if we are not using Logbook and want to use now, can we take part in survey? Absolutely, glad to hear you are looking to start using Logbook, and we'd€™d love to hear your feedback as you are starting to explore Logbook.
Will the APIs allow for interface with Jira and service now? Yes, the public Rest APIs will be possible to utilize to integrate with any 3rd party system. We are also planning to provide a Planview Hub (TaskTop) Universal Connector support in future.
What`s the plan to migrate the current issue items to logbook Issue items? The migration process will be manual when you are ready. We have a UI based import facility with Logbook to make it easy to migrate over.
When will the link for log notifications be sending to the log associated with the project instead of the generic screen that the link is sending us? We still need to further enhance notifications, what we have today is first step to this feature. More to come on this later this year and future.
Is there any plans in updating the importer so you can upload/move Risks and Issues into Logbook for all projects? Current importer supports creation, we have heard feedback about supporting updating as well and this is something we are investigating, but once we have update support moving would be included, and also worth mentioning we are looking to support associations across work items to reduce the manual entry.
Will Logs created in a project in Portfolios carry over to the logs section of a workspace in ProjectPlace if this project is synced? That is correct, Kevin, in a work item that is connected between Portfolios and ProjectPlace, Logs created on either end are visible on both ends, ProjectPlace and Portfolios.
We are a long way off using Widgets. We do however love Tiles in Work Portfolios - so a default Work Portfolio Logbook Tile would be super useful:) Noted, thank you for your feedback.
Currently the Export/Import template is at the entity level. Is there any plan to create a mass Import option instead of project by project? Yes, once we have implemented a global view for Logbook, where it will show logs across multiple entities, this is when Import would be updated to support across multiple entities in one shot.

Is the logbook editable for clients? If you are referring to External workspace members in ProjectPlace, then yes as long as they have the permission granted to them.
