June 2026 Enablement Q&A

Question Answer
In Planview.ME, do we have a widget that displays a list of active lifecycles for all works owned by an Organization or Tower

The lifecycle approval widget is available and displays information about all work, strategy, and outcome lifecycle items that need a user’s approval. It is not filterable right now by organization or tower although that information might be visible on the widget.

Note: It does not display Request lifecycle items, Changes, risks, or issues (CRIs) or Support tickets at the moment.

Will there be a new widget for this? This is not on the roadmap at the moment but we will listen for more feedback from users.
Thanks for the lift on character limits! Simple yet welcome. Does that apply also to Org-res auto-generated structure? This won't immediately change any existing fields (so it's not going to cause an update across your org-res structure) but future fields that exceed 50 characters of course would start to reflect the difference
For the description length change will that impact the database at all? Or will fields remain the same That will not make intended changes to those fields, only ones that you go in and either lengthen to >50 or new ones that exceed that number
Is the Anvi MCP available now? Yes! If you're already active on Anvi, you can send a quick email espeterson@planview.com and get the setup guide to connect to Anvi MCP through either MS Copilot, Claude, and others.
Was there a formatting update pushed out for Portfolios in the past couple of weeks? The text in work portfolios now seems to be centered vertically rather than locked to the top of the cell, which makes it hard to read multi-line descriptions/commentary This is a known issue we are investigating. It was not an intended change and we will be working on fixing.
Are the enhancements to Logbooks available in ProjectPlace as well? Yes, Logbook enhancments will be available when accessing in Portfolios or ProjectPlace. Of course log type counts for example will be only in Portfolios.
I understand that Automart is distinct from the Datamart functionnality. Is that right? Yes, that is correct
where does Automart sit within the reporting ecosystem vs. Replica, Incremental ODATA, classic ODATA? It sits as a separate DB next to the transactional DB and OData can be used to retrieve data from the Automart.
If we have integrations with logic on the 50 character limit.... will that be adusted automatically or do we need to raise professional services scope to adjust? Yes definitely would be recommended to validate with professional services if there are any changes needed to any custom integrations.
Automart - can we set which user role or employee/contractor get the view to only certain fields in certain tables? Yes this is possible, I'd encourage you to join the June 12th Deep Dive webinar we will be talking more about automart there
When will Pairwise be added to NextGen Ideaplace? Pairwise is part of our NextGen IdeaPlace roadmap. The timeline for this feature has not yet been finalized. As we continue developing NextGen IdeaPlace, we will keep you updated on its progress and share more details as they become available.
When will Planview upgrade PowerBI from 2024 version to 2026? We are working on a Plan. most-likely will happen in Q3. we will definitely provide a detailed timeline for the update soon.
Is secondary grouping going to be available in just the Enterprise version or in the Teams version as well? Will be available in both versions
Do we enable Platform User Mgt for one product at a time? or is it all or nothing? Because of the significant change to the user, it will be an all or nothing for available products.
Please provide the list of products that will be available within Platform User Management.

Initial group of products: Planview.Me, Roadmaps, NextGen Ideaplace (labs), AgilePlace, ProjectPlace, Advisor, EA, and Portfolios

More products to follow

Platform User Management for Portfolios: do the API allow any kind of Resource association or initialization? Resource management and associations will continue to happen in portfolios.  Only the user will be managed in Planview Admin.
Excellent! What about the other feature about adding new cards from AP "automatically" That will be for the Enterprise version
Is there an initial clean up or lift on the admins to start leveraging top down user management in Admin? For example do we need to ensure specific fields are filled out in individual products, or manually sync the users initially, etc.? I just want clarity on how the transition to admin for user management will work. Yes, there will need to be cleanup and prep work before enabling Platform user management.  Fields such as email address should be filled in for all users, but more importantly user management integrations to products such as AgilePlace, Portfolios, and ProjectPlace will need to be recreated to Planview Admin.  No users will be able to be created in connected products once Platform user managemnt has been enabled.  I will go over this in more detail during this in the coming deep dive webinar on June 18th.
For Planview Admin platform user management, will this be automatic if you opt in? (Similar to how releases currently happen)  Customers will Opt in when they are ready to swtich to platform user management, however once they Opt in, any product that has been added to planview admin and capable of PUM will automatically be enabled.  The user migrations are complex and require us to all-or-nothing the platform user management for enabled products in Planview Admin.
