• New Owner column in the list view (Planview Labs release): With the new column Owner, users can now view the owners associated with each objective and key result, enhancing visibility into responsibility and progress tracking. Additionally, you can configure this column in the column configuration view for further customization of your display.

• Coming Soon: Filter by owner in the list view (Planview Labs release): Users can now filter OKRs by their assigned owners, allowing them to effortlessly focus on OKRs owned by specific individuals, identify accountability, track progress, and customize views by combining the owner filter with other attributes.

Resolved Issues

• Deleting progress entries for key results: Previously, deleting a progress entry for a key result did not update the progress percentage to the previous value in the History tab for both key results and objectives. This issue has been fixed. Now, the progress percentage reverts accurately in the OKR history, ensuring proper tracking and consistency.

New Features and Updates

• Parent-child connections: The order in which attributes appear for aligning parent and child objectives has been optimized to enhance the user experience, creating a more intuitive connection between related objectives.

• Time chart in key results form: During the implementation of multitarget functionality for key results, the linear line displaying estimated progress was impacted. To address this, a new trend line has been added to the chart, providing a clear estimated progress trajectory towards targets. This improvement enables users to quickly assess if they are on track to meet their targets.

Resolved Issues

• Open in related scope grid view action item (Planview Labs release): Previously, clicking Open in related scope did not redirect users to the associated objective as expected. This issue has now been resolved, ensuring users are correctly redirected to the related objective.

New Features and Updates

• Scope column update: Users can now view the scope name for OKRs that originate from the same scope in the Scope column of the List view (Planview Labs release) or in the Scope type option on the Details and Child Objectives panes for an objective.

             

  NOTE

  You could already view scope names from different scopes; this update adds visibility for OKRs within the same scope.

             

• New Open in related Scope action menu option (Planview Labs release): This new action menu option allows users to redirect to a connected objective from a different scope type directly from the action menu ().

Resolved Issues

• < strong >Date field in Planview Portfolios: The OKRs date field in Planview Portfolios is no longer cut off in the filter view; users can now view the complete date information without any truncation.

• Number format localization: Users can now seamlessly view, add, and edit numeric fields in key results and custom attributes, all aligned with their local language preferences. This feature enhances formatting accuracy and improves data consistency across regions, making numerical information easier to interpret.

• OKR screen column configuration (Planview Labs release): Users can now show, hide, and reorder columns on the OKRs screen. This will help in improving visibility and customizing a user's view to better suit individual needs.

Resolved Issues

• Tooltip information: We have resolved an issue where users were unable to change the tooltip information for the default custom attribute. You can now update and customize the tooltip information as needed.

New Features and Updates

• Targets in key results: The Update key result progress pane now includes a read-only list of all the targets associated with the selected key result. This helps you quickly view the targets linked to the key result without having to navigate back to the Target(s) tab on the key result's Details tab. This way, you can stay focused on updating your progress while having easy access to information about all relevant targets.
• Objective date range enhancement: We have enhanced the objective date range workflow, allowing users to update the date range of existing objectives to fall completely outside the previous date range, before or after the previous dates of the objective. This enhancement offers greater flexibility in goal management, ensures better alignment between objectives and key results, and improves the overall user experience.

Resolved Issues

• List view (Planview Labs release): Previously, on the List view of the Objectives and Key Results screen, an issue prevented users from opening the Details tab for an objective or key result when clicking the objective or key result. Now, you can click the objective or key result and successfully open the associated details tab.
• Key result history: Clicking the History tab for a key result no longer results in an unknown error. You can now access the key result history without any issues, allowing you to track changes and monitor progress more effectively.

Resolved Issues

• Parent/child objective links: Previously, users were unable to redirect to parent or child objectives when attempting to navigate between them. Now, users can seamlessly navigate between parent and child objectives, improving the overall experience and accessibility of related objectives.

New Features and Updates

• Key results name in the History tab for objectives: To improve functionality in the History tab for objectives, you can now view the Key Result names when updates are made to the following attributes:
  • Custom attributes
  • Key result targets
  • Progress points
• Automatic date and time localization: A user's date and time format now reflects the preferences set in the host products (AgilePlace or Planview Portfolios). Navigate to the Language & Region settings in AgilePlace or User menu > Preferences in Planview Portfolios to update date and time settings. Once set, these preferences will automatically apply and reflect across your OKRs.

• Target ID on a key result's Detail tab: Users can now see the unique ID of each target on the Target(s) sub-tab on the Details tab for a key result, making it easier to reference specific targets when reviewing the history of changes in the Activity Stream.
• Targets on a key result's Time Chart sub-tab: The set target will now be plotted on the Time Chart, allowing users to better visualize when each target is scheduled to be achieved. This provides clearer insights into timelines and progress.
• Objective redirection: When a user clicks an objective name, they are redirected to the scope where the objective originally resides.

Resolved Issues

• Scope name issue resolved: The scope name, which was missing in the Excel report due to recent changes, is now displaying correctly along with the associated scope names of the objectives.
• Key result percentage fix: Updated Key Result percentages are now reflected in the history, ensuring accurate progress tracking.
• Fixed a few important bugs that were affecting the performance and functionality of Planview OKRs.

• Bug fix: Resolved an issue where deleted activities were incorrectly appearing in the activity list under strategy and work OKRs.
• Other bug fixes: Fixed additional issues to improve overall system functionality and the user experience.

New Features and Updates

• Multiple targets for a key result: Users can set multiple targets for a single key result, which can help with more thorough progress tracking, especially when users need to monitor progress across various timeframes or durations within a single key result. For example, for a project where you want to measure progress by percent in multiple stages, you could enter 0 as the Start Value, 50 for the Target Value for Target 1, 90 as the Target Value for Target 2, and 100 as the Target Value for Target 3.

             

  NOTE

  With this update, the Start Date, End Date, and Target Value for an existing target in an existing key result will be converted into the Start Date, End Date, and Target Value for Target 1.

• New information icon added: An information icon has been added to the AgilePlace OKR screens and the strategy OKR screens in Planview Portfolios. Clicking this icon redirects users to the relevant product help article in the Customer Success Center, which provides more information about OKRs and their functionality.

• OKRs form responsiveness: Improved the responsiveness of the OKRs form to enhance the user experience.
• Other bug fixes: Various other bug fixes to improve overall functionality and stability.

• Custom attributes: Users can now replace the default Custom Attributes label text on OKR screens or hide the label entirely (custom attributes themselves would still be available).
• Sorting of progress entries in key results: Users can now sort using the As of Date and Progress value data in progress entries for key results.

Resolved Issues

• Memory leak issues that were causing slowness in Planview OKRs functionality have been resolved.
• Performance improvements have been made by creating new APIs and updating existing APIs to enable users to perform tasks smoothly. Additionally, the Objective button and Scope now load promptly for a smoother user experience.

• Child Objectives filter: Users can now filter their OKRs view to show only selected child objectives and their associated key results, enabling a more focused and granular view of the OKRs hierarchy.

Resolved Issues

• OKR Health: Fixed an issue where the OKR Health pane (opened by clicking ) would not appear.
• Progress point updates: Fixed an issue where progress point calculations were not reflecting real-time updates and occasionally showed incorrect progress percentages.

New Feature

• Custom attribute history: Users can now access a detailed history of changes made to custom attributes on the History tab of an individual objective's or key result's screen in Planview Portfolios or Planview AgilePlace. This history shows who made changes to a specific custom attribute and the details of those changes. You can use this history as an audit log of changes to values over time.

Enhancements

• Date components: Revamped the design of the date component to a new and improved version that is more intuitive, visually appealing, and user-friendly.
• Filter: The Filter pane has been moved to the left side of the screen next to the + New Objective icon. This change brings a consistent UI and UX filtering experiences across the Planview platform. All filtering functionalities are otherwise unchanged.

Resolved Issues

• Key results: Resolved an issue where key result progress points were not updating in real time. Now, users can view accurate and timely updates to track progress seamlessly.
• Fixed a few important bugs that were affecting the performance and functionality of Planview OKRs.

• Product name on OKRs Excel download: With the release of connected OKRs, you can now easily identify which product (AgilePlace or Portfolios) your parent or child objective is connected to, ensuring better clarity and management.

• New field on Objective and Key Results screens: We have introduced a new description field, Description, which allows you to add contextual and supplementary information to your OKRs, significantly enhancing clarity and understanding.

• Updates to OKR health logic

  • Improved the On-Track/Behind Logic: We have made significant enhancements to the on-track/behind logic for OKRs. By fine-tuning the calculations, we now offer more precise assessments of OKR progress.

  • Removed the trend line: We have removed the dotted trend line from the Objective and Key Result report tiles to avoid potential misinterpretations when dealing with multiple OKRs with varying time frames.

  All other aspects of OKR Health Logic remain unchanged.

• We have fixed a few important bugs that were affecting the performance and functionality of the OKRs platform. These fixes address issues related to performance slowdowns, incorrect progress tracking, and improved data synchronization.

• Connected OKRs across Planview Portfolios and AgilePlace: Customers can leverage the connected OKR framework to share objectives from the portfolio down to the teams with a new Scope filter in the Objective screen:

  • Select the Board scope to align to objectives in AgilePlace.
  • Select the Strategy scope to align to the objectives in Planview Portfolios.
