Activities

Working with Activities

Activities capture your work toward Key Results. In AgilePlace, Activities are tracked using individual cards on your regular AgilePlace board.

Viewing Activities

You can view Activities on your main AgilePlace board by clicking View Board on the OKR Board.

  • Each Key Result displays the number of Activities (or cards) Key Results Icon.png connected to it
  • Open a Key Result and select the Activities tab to see the details of the connected cards

Adding Activities

To add a new activity to your OKR board:

  1. From the desired AgilePlace board, click OKR icon.png.
  2. Click the Key Result you want to add an Activity to or click  on the Key Result and select Open.
  3. Select the Activities tab.
  4. Click + Create New Activity.
  5. Enter a title for the activity. This will be the title of the card added to your AgilePlace board.
  6. From the Activity Type dropdown, select the card type for the Activity.
  7. Click Save & Close. A card with the information you entered will now be added to your Default Drop Lane.

Connect Existing Activities 

  1. From the desired AgilePlace board, click OKR icon.png.
  2. Click the Key Result you want to add an Activity to or click  on the Key Result and select Open.
  3. Select the Activities tab.
  4. Select the Connect Existing Activities search bar.
  5. Use the search bar to find individual Cards or us the Filter by Board dropdown to show all cards on a specific board.

               

    IMPORTANT

    An AgilePlace board with a new OKR board that has never been opened before will not appear in the list until after any user with edit (read/write) permissions to the AgilePlace board clicks OKR icon.png to activate the new OKR board.

               

  6. Mark the checkboxes next to each of the Cards you want to add as Activities to this Key Result. 
  7. Click Connect Selected Cards. These cards are now associated with your Key Result.

If you connect a AgilePlace card as an activity, the connected Key Results will be listed on the AgilePlace card's Key Results tab.

Managing Activities 

Once a you have added Activities to your Key Results, you can filter your view of connected Cards on the Activities tab.

Click one or more of the Not Started, Started, or Finished filters to display connected Cards based on where they are on your AgilePlace board.

Removing Activities from Key Results

To remove an Activity from a Key Result, on the Activities tab, click the  icon next to the activity you want to remove and select Remove Connection. The card will still exist on your AgilePlace board, but will no longer be associated with this Key Result.
